Hi,

I have had my 2007 TDV8 for about 6 months and have only covered about 2000 miles and it is now with the
Supplying garages Land Rover expert who is trying to find a coolant leak. They have had it for 6 weeks and cannot
Find it they have checked all usual places but nothing. They are now removing the body and stripping the engine to look at waterways etc.

I have asked what if they can't find it what then and they have said a refund.

So seeing as I think they have had long enough do it get a refund and have a look around again. 2010 models are now under
15k it seems or wait to see if they fix it. I really like the car and it is exactly what I wanted and have spend about 1k on
Servicing and bits and pieces which I won't get back I expect. It also has my Private plate so messing about there.

What do you guys think.

If you hope to have matters resolved and to keep the car:

Select an independent LR 'expert' that you have been recommended to use; and get the indie to assess the car at the cost of the supplying garage. See what said indie says, then take stock and take it from there...
