Hello All. New FF Range Rover owner here (2006 4.4 SE). Am just finding my way around my new (to me) car and loving it!

I've had variety of bigger 4x4 cars for a few years now (Explorer, XC90, etc), but nothing as big and nice as a RR.

As is probably normal for a newbie, I have loads of questions for more experienced owners, but I'll start off with three if I may...

1) I've read the first few pages of a the L322 threads and I see mention of the colour of the coolant fluid being green. Mine is Pink/Red. Is this OK?

2) The load cover is a light cream colour and it has a lot of dirty marks on it. What do I use to clean it up without leaving water marks? Is a weak solution of washing up liquid OK?

3) As far as I know, everything seems to be working OK at present The car was serviced in March 2017 (2 x cats + Lambda sensor replacement + new coolant chamber!) and has 75000 miles on the clock. Is there anything I should do immediately - like take it to a local independent LR specialist and get it checked out?

I have already ordered a replacement Bluetooth unit from Bluetoothexchange.co.uk as I can't permanently pair my phone or store phone book at present.

welcome to the club,in answer to your Q about cleaning the parcel shelf use your chose of upholstery cleaner and a powerwasher leave to dry in the sun mine comes up like new everytime

1. Your coolant should indeed be pink/red/orange.

2. As for the parcel shelf I use this "Dry Foam", it can also be used on the headlining if needed and then just wipes off, ideal for delicate fabrics.

I just use Vanish foam and a damp cloth on my ivory parcel shelf and headlining. I just do it when I get a car and then I done get it dirty...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

mine needs doing, like MJD above it was done when i got the car but is now had many bags etc so needs a clean! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Couple of further questions if I may:

My RR is Tonga Green and inside it has two colour upholstery. Basically it is cream coloured with a dark green, wide stripe down the middle of the seats. The drivers seat bolster is a little discoloured and scuffed, so I intend to clean and repair it.
Does anyone know the official name for this seat trim please? Or is just called 'cream and green'

The cream-coloured plastic trim on the side of the drivers seat (the bit with the seat adjustment buttons on) is scratched through to the plastic beneath. I'm looking for ideas on how to improve this. Will I have to repaint it or can it be touched up?
If so, is there an official colour name for this?

OK, after extensive searching both here and on the net, I think I can answer my own questions
Trim colour is Ivory/Aspen (or Aspen/Ivory) and I bought a new seat valence replacement in Ivory off a well known auction site as mine was not just scratched by cracked along the thin bit at the top.

So, problems resolved!
