United Arab Emirates 2010 Range Rover Supercharged 5.0 SC V8 Bonatti Grey
All the colours

Hi all,I'm thinking of buying the face lifted 2018 RR Long Wheelbase Autobiography Very Happy .

The colours configuration that I was thinking of is:

1: Exterior Balmoral Blue (Ultra Metallic) / Interior Navy/Cirrus (Seats in Navy)

2: Exterior British Racing Green (Ultra Metallic) / Interior Ebony/Tan

3: Exterior Ruffina Red (Ultra Metallic) / Interior Dark Cherry/Ivory (Seats in Dark Cherry)

4: Exterior Valloire White Pearl (Pearlescent) / Interior Ebony/Pimento

(I will upload the images of the configuration I did in the RR web site)

All of them will get the SVO kit (Wheels, side vents,exhaust...etc).

The problem is seeing a colour live or in a live image is different then a computer-generated image, that's why if it's possible I would like to see a live image from the members of this community about these colours, and while we're at it why not see all the colours of the exterior and interior of the members who are willing to share these information (please include the name of the colour with the image).

Sorry for the long topic and thanks in advance.

For what it's worth I'd go and have a look at the colour combos in your local dealers. Granted they certainly won't have everything in you've listed but you may be able to discount or hopefully confirm your like for a particular combination as they look entirely different in the metal. Personally I'd have the Loire blue with ivory leather, just as I would with any of the greys and blacks. It just lifts the space imo. Cirrus is popular too but for me just a little to white. The red interior is a bit more of a personal statement and I'm aware of one dealer telling me they don't like buying them in as they take a bit of shifting as the pool for them is limited.

As for your other choices I personally like tan but it's less popular for a reason I suppose. Never seen the cherry.

But having said all that you are buying for you and I suppose you should buy something that looks cool to you Thumbs Up

As above. Try to get to a large RR dealership & view as many combos as possible. I agree that the online configurator doesn't represent the colours all that well & the samples/swatches in the dealers are very tricky to use.

It's an aged old debate regarding colours as many factors need to be considered, not least of all the owners ability to live with a chosen combo & then how desirable it would be come resale, as a bad choice could cost many thousands of ££'s. If the buyer intends to keep the car then resale becomes less important.

As an example, i bought an Audi D2 S8 Anniversary many years ago in Avus Silver with a red extended leather interior & although it was striking, it became very difficult to fall in love with as the red leather extended to the steering wheel & alll upper leather & after a while it grated on me so after 5 months i sold it. Also see below (not my car), a 991 Turbo S that from the outside again looks striking, but the interior really doesn't suit the car & given the price it's up for sale at is around £15k less than a comparable car in a more favourable colour.

For my FFRR i chose a colour combo that i really liked (wasn't my favourite combo though), but also knew would not be disliked by others & thus won't hit me in the wallet when i come to move on. Paul

Has your dealer confirmed MY18 will be facelifted and taking orders already?
I'm also waiting for a MY18 facelift but my dealer says he is unaware of a facelift.
Intending to go for BRG with either Ebony or Ebony/Tan, SVAutobiography Dynamic comes only with either Ebony as one tone, all others have two tone interior/seats which I'm not sure about.

No my dealer also said that it is unaware of any facelift and they will not take orders for 2018 till they are sure about it, but we already have a spy shots of the car and the RR life span is 10 years, 13-17 is 5 years so 2018 is the logical time for a facelift.

Your might find it useful to look at the LR UK approved used site, though the exterior colours you mention are 'specials' and so won't come up that often. At least that way you get pictures of actual cars, rather than computer simulations. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Australia 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

Option 1 is the most resellible combo and looks good.

Option 2 appeals to me, maybe as it has a colour combo similar to the early RR.

White with opt 1 interior would also look nice.

It's very much an individual decision. ______________________________
