Cheers Willy, I didn't realise an L405 would fit under the barrier - I thought it was the same height as an L322.

I always book for a high vehicle no matter what i,m in as the carriage is wider and less chance of damage to my wheels.

Is the sticker from France valid throughout Europe, or do you need a different one in Germany?, and which other countries have now adapted them? E.g. Spain ? Portugal?

100% right. High is the best way to go. And make sure that you keep a close look to your rear view mirror in Germany before overtaking another car. They can arrive very fast...

Agreed the wheels were a concern as the carriages are tight. However my 22" wheels have been through about 20 times and not had a problem..........yet |

So i am at my destination. Very surprised how easy it all was. Antwerp was busy and delayed us an hour. Then a smash on autobahn whic cost 30 mins.

Great drive back to. One accident where a merc vanio hit the central concrete barrier taking both the wheels off that side.
