Yes, LR do "Sports Bars" that fit directly to the fixing points under the flaps in the top finishing 'rail' and they fix without needing the flaps removed.

The Thule ones have a 'foot pack' which sits on the roof & has a thin piece which claps under the door aperture.

It's just for 2 bikes, still toying with idea to be fair. Like Thule stuff but would prefer LR. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

I had Thule - but I had 4 bikes - the Thule bike racks lock onto the bars & the feet lock onto the car so all good

Rhino Racks also do them. I used the feet off some L322 Rhino bars to fit a Rhino Pioneer Platform o mine (even though Rhino say they don't make a kit to fit a platform).

Thanks. Have you carried bikes on the roof. If yes; if I mount the bars on the rear and centre mounts does the tailgate catch on the bike racks? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

I've had the LR bars but then went to the rhino rack. I've got to say the rhino rack is a much better system. |

With regards the rear mounting points; do the bars bolt to these OK or just to the middle and front. I only ask as the roof aerial seems too tall and would obstruct the bars?

If I remember correctly, there was a guy on here who sold three bars and pictured his car with all three in place a while back.
