I don't know why I'm mentioning this as it's probably something that I should know but when driving and more often than not during stop start driving but not exclusively I hear a rapid clicking noise similar to indicators but much quicker. Anyone know what it is?

Might be worth switching the cabin heater/blower fan off the next time you hear it, just to eliminate it, might be a leaf stuck in the fan.

I have a similar sound but only when cornering to the left and it turned out to be the blower fan blades rubbing off the housing, probably due to worn bearings (which I still haven't actually opened to investigate fully) but unlikely on your newer FF.

Thanks for that but it's definitely mechanical in sound. Defo not a leaf

Try turning to cool box off. That clicks on mine on startup.

It's the cool box as it's faulty, my last two had the issue rectified but I can't remember how

Well done and thanks to you both. I turned it off and no clicking. Thing is I very, very rarely use it, so I suppose I best check it and get it done under warranty
