You only need it on the two half moons and a bit either side and a bit over and either side of where the front timing covers join, I have got the loctite number somewhere if you need it.

No bother, i have attached the page from Rave manual, you must get yourself a copy if you don't have one already, but it probably wouldn't do any harm putting sealant all round but messy and i have never done it and mine are sealing fine.

Job done thanks for the heads up.. drivers side done my head in as everytime I had just about got it seated the gasket would fall out. Added more sealant then tried again. Nope! Five try before I finally got it lol..got dark before I could fit coil packs ect so hopefully there's no leaks.. |

Good work mate, it gets easier the more you do it, i think it took me 35 minutes to do my passenger side last weekend, but then i have done it a few times, there is a trick to removing the injector loom, which is get a hold of it either end and a sharp tug and it pops off.

It must be the first one. The second ones the front 3 that you can't take the rubber seal off? The first pic must have the washer and seal with it in the pic as the bolt looks a wee bit different. Appreciate that buddy |

No worries mate, the seals do come off, you really need to replace all of them as well ideally

If the old ones wont come off then just cut them without removing your fingers and if the new ones are a bit stiff then put them in some hot water and they will pop over.

Actually did have 1 issue. Exhaust started doing this puff puff thing. Got that horrible sinking feeling as car sounded a bit rough.. just clicked I've not reattached the 2 vacuum lines to the throttle body air intake . Haven't had the chance to check as I'm away to work so hoping thats all it is |

As long as the nut you lost isn't in there you will be fine, the engine certainly won't be happy with a vacuum leak and as long as all your coil packs are back on there isn't a lot you can do wrong.

Found the nut. Torch and a long reach stick with a magnetic tip. Also found my missing 10 and 11mm sockets |
