Im having a crisis !!!!

Dunot know whats going on !!!! Im 28 and had/got some amazing cars, but i REALLY WANT ONE OF THESE !!!!

Not had one personally but my best mate bought one when we were in our late teens, when his Golf Rallye was stolen. Although both had the same engine, the G60 was quicker due to not being 4WD and had better firmer suspension.

The Rallye looked much better though!

I drove a company car one, it was nice but not enought to make me want to own one.

Go for it David - if you can get one that has been looked after like the one you have posted...

...had an Oak Green Hreg 1.8GTI 5dr Golf with the big bumpers once and have always regretted selling it since.

Simple cars with out loads of gizmos but a very strong, reliable and superb build quality - in its day only the Peugeot 205 / 306 GTI could give it a run for its money performance wise but there was very little in it.

One of the best cars I have ever owned - The G60 variant is a rare one but a superb engine - a better car than the Rallye version they did.

3drs are preferred for some reason - but the 5dr has a stronger chassis (which would be a benefit on an older car) and the doors are less likely to drop IMHO
