United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

It would be interesting to ask the dealer for the VIN number on the car (Not the V5) and/or look if the plate is new in engine & in Windscreen.

I discovered a D4 which was (probably) stolen and being sold on forged number plates & V5 recently. Both VIN plates looked too new and V5 was just not quite right plus it was a Start/Stop engine facelift and a 2012 plated car... Rolling with laughter

PS: If it is a dodgy car it seems to me that the dealer has no idea. Silly boy.

The mystery has been solved

Just been to view it, it's a lovely machine, had a bit of work that I spotted that I wasn't particularly happy about but drove exactly how a 50k car should

When we checked the service history it turns out that the number is actually SC05 VWW, it had been on a private plate and the plates had been made incorrectly
