Upper Centre Dash Vent Metal Inlay (TDV8)

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the little silver metal centre inlay in the centre of the upper dash vent is available on it's own, or only as part of the complete vent assembly?

The previous owner lost one of them - I found it in the bottom of the vent unit, but trying to fish it out it's falled down into the dash itself Big Cry

To better describe what I'm after:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/07-08-09-10-11-1...7675.l2557

The silver bit in the middle of the air direction adjusters. I've looked on lrcat and can't see it listed. If it's not available on it's own, does anyone know if the side vent inlays are the same fitment?

Cheers

Jon

I can't help but am needing the same part for the rear seats vents.

Let us know if you find something. ______________________________

It doesn't look like they are available on their own.

It looks like the vents are common across RR / RRS / Ewok etc though, and the inlay is the same no matter if it's the centre / side / rear vent - I've ordered a complete vent off ebay which should be here tomorrow, hopefully I can remove the inlay and swap it over...

Vent arrived today. After attacking it with a pair of pliers, the little metal insert came out. 5 mins job, a blob of superglue and now the centre vent has it's shiny middle again.

The side and centre vents look to have identical inlays, as do the rears. The only slight difference between the replacement and the original is that it's slightly shinier - it looks like the originals are brushed finish and this one isn't, but you'd have to look really closely to spot the difference. That said it will probably bug me!!
