Lower side skirt/rocker panel replacement

I just ordered 2 new side skirt/rocker panel replacements for my 2011.The long black pieces that run from wheel well to wheel well under the doors. Has anyone ever replaced these? Wondering if i can do it or take to body shop. Thx! Mike

If its the black plastic youre talking about its very easy to replace, all you need is a screwdriver or trim remover tool! Theres 6 plastic bungs eachside you pull out the middle of each and then open the doors and prise them off from the top and the clips come off! If you have front mud flaps there may be a screw under the front corner to remove and off they come. 10 mins at most.

Pete haylands did some pics when he rust proofed his underside so have a search for that thread and it reveals all.
