Most likely.Engine system fault, you need the codes read to identify the possible cause...

I'm hoping it's a false alarm has it only came on for a second or two,I've already changed the top turbo hoses a few months ago. Fingers crossed 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver |

Did the message flash up when you startd the car or whilst driving? If when starting could be the turbo actuator arms sticking and not going hrough the full range of motion. Theres a few threads on how to oil hem to stop this. |

No it didn't happen from start up,i had driven about 10 miles down the motorway at about 60 mph then came off on to normal roads and stopped at traffic lights, the lights changed and I started to go when a bus crossed across the front of me through a red light and I had to slam the brakes on sharply, thats when the warning popped up for about 2 seconds then went off.everything seems fine and I,m obviously hoping its a one off. 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver |

Normally the big faults show under load i.e turbos and egrs so the fact it was when breaking seems to be a good sign! |

Have you checked the engine oil level? |

Oil level ok and nothing seems amiss and it's been well looked after because I know the guy who had it before me was a work colleague and it has been driven mainly motorway approx 30 miles each day to work and it's now done 88000 miles so I assume motorway mileage is better for the car. I'll see how things progress 2009 Vogue SE Zermatt silver |
