Hi, I ordered a new BT module from Wiggs last summer (ref http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic53544.html) - installed it July in our 2007 L322 - and as everyone else I immediate experienced the improved sound with the new D4 type BT module. And the improved display (signal strength & service provider) on the l322 nav unit screen - great!

Is the D4 one just plug and play like the L322 one was/is?

I also have a 2006 and it never pairs automatically, have to pair it and enter the code each time, I'm hoping it can be flashed with an IID tool. |

If a technophobe like me can do it, I can't see you having any problems. |

This weekend I tried to upgrade the BT ECU according to the description in the IID manual chapter 4.11.4, using my IID BT tool, but I get error messages half way during the upgrade: "Operation Failed E 4". I even tried using a PC connected to the IID tool (as described in the IID manual). And - used a CTEK connected while upgrading, so the voltage should not be a problem. Strange! |
