Yes, green light is on but only works when ignition is on.

Mine only works with the ignition on - but after a decent drive the drinks are cool |

In the handbook it says not to leave switched on as it can drain the battery.

It's not a fridge in the true sense, it's a thermally insulated box with an attached heat sink and fan which is activated by the switch in the centre console. It's really a cool box, if the item goes in cold then it will maintain that coldness over a journey but it will not make things cold. |

Stick a cold brew in it. After the next 5 hours it'll be ready to drink |

It uses a Peltier cooling device, so should cool the compartment down. If it is heating up, it is not out of the question that the power supply has been reversed! |

I am 90% sure mine has cooled down drinks and not just kept them cool |

Sounds like it's wired the wrong way. It uses a Peltier unit, much the same as heated/cooled seats do. Connect it up and it should get cold, but if the +ve and -ve are the wrong way it will heat up instead. |
