I did have it onbut it didn't meet the reserve. I had the reserve set as £12500 which I thought was very reasonable for what it is.

i think that the problem you have is that prospective buyers look at age, mileage and price to start with, and i'm afraid that there are over a dozen cars for sale just on autotrader that are either less miles & same age or newer & same miles, but also either the same price or significantly less cash that yours.... some by as much as £1500 - £2000 cheaper and thats before someone has even picked the phone up as i would be surprised if you couldnt get another £250 - £500 off the advertised price..... that on paper makes yours look expensive

have you tried the part ex route if you just fancy a change, i wanted to change my q7 as i fancied a change but in the end i have stuck with it for now as i couldnt cope with the £10k of depreciation i would take changing it.....

Personally, I think your asking price is a little on the strong side for a 2008. I have pretty much the identical car with a 2010 conversion and a lot more miles and have a view that mine is worth a lot less than your asking price.

2 years ago I traded mine in for £12k.

Not sure where the figures above are from, ie. how recent they are.

I have seen similar vehicles for sale at £10k to low £11k which made me feel the time I got rid of mine was right having paid £24k then 18 months later get £12k trade in.

They seem to be dropping but staying around £10k-£12k though.

Good luck with the sale regardless of opinions....
