A lot of people really want to believe it works but there is no evidence . This South African study says you can't notice a difference http://www.fuelexpert.co.za/2-stroke-oil-i...-study.php 2008 MY Supercharged

Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zambezi Silver

After just having my injectors cleaned for poor running after a fuel additive was added, I will head the advice from the Injector cleaning specialist and never pour anything into the tank again.

I have used 2stroke on older diesel engine's, pajero's freelander MK1 (not TD4) I did think it made the engine a little more quieter

on my wife's previous A3 2.0 TDi (with PD engine), adding 2SO made a big difference, especially in winter: smoother startup, less clatter, and less smoke when accelerating hard.

On my Puma 2.4, it made less of a difference, and on the current A3 1.6 TDi and my previous D4 SDV6, it made no noticeable difference.
