That possibly could work if I 1. Knew how to do it & 2. It sounds like a long winded way to address a problem that shouldn't even exist.

Just buy an iPod and plug it in - a bit more money, but a whole lot less hassle - I couldn't be bothered fiddling with file properties every time I want to change the music.

I gave up in the end & went the iPod route. Bought a 128GB Touch & that works perfectly as could get virtually my entire music library on it.
