Learning to use bt iid tool. | |
Gents,
I will try not to make too much of a nuisance of myself by repeatedly asking stupid questions, but my first session was not exactly a success.
1) I registered the device and viewed a whole shed full of historic faults, most of which cleared, but 2 remained (see attached screenshot) . At this stage I am not worrying about them, because I was only sat on the drive with the ignition on,but engine off, so I will see what shows next time.
2) My main reason for buying the tool is to gather as much info / data while the car is running well so that I can build up a reference library of screenshots to hopefully help me diagnose future problems when they occur .,
So my question is : What should I do next?
Hopefully your replies will give me a list of readings to record that I can reference back to when problems start.
One thing that did surprise me:- The battery low start engine warning came on after about 10 minutes sitting with the ignition on even though I had connected my Ctek via the towing socket adapter, but I just ignored it and the car started fine
when I eventually disconnected everything ready to go out in it.
Cheers
Mike.
