Angel - I've just agreed the same thing myself. My MY17 car has now been rejected, and I'll be placing an MY18 SVAD order once that's possible.

Sorry to hear wanderer was looking forward to seeing your car. What was missing i thought they came with everything.? Seems 18 year model is the way to go.

Short answer, no. Long answer... They were designed and built in tandem but with different designed briefs and had the Velar been released first, people would no doubt have incorrectly assumed that the F-Pace was just a Velar with a different badge. Whilst they certainly share many components, where they differ is, for example, with regards to suspension. One is set up to properly cope with off road and one is very much road biased. I am told the sensation is of sitting low in (effectively) a Jag saloon and sitting high in an off roader. As I understand it anyway. |
