When they do the remap does it make the engine smoother as well as more powerful? 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

Not sure it was smoother, but one thing I found was that the lag of set off was reduced. Regards

Hi WCA...

I'm also in Hants and thinking of doing the same thing (tune/re-map) on other cars i'd always sought to do this via a dyno run etc to ensure no issues. What did you end up doing in the end and where?

Just fitted two new turbos! and had MMP install an Alive remap, car is now, so much more responsive! Drives like a bat out of hell!
I haven't booted it yet, but can feel the extra torque!

Well worth it 2014 vogue se

It looks like there are four popular remap choices for the L322 tdv8:
• BAS
• JE Engineering
• Alive Tuning
• Bluefin/Superchips.

I'm leaning toward BAS as I have an IIDTOOL. ______________________________

I had my previous 3.6 remapped by JE and I've also now had my 4.4 remapped by them. I've had no problems with either car.

Unless they've changed recently, JE won't be an option for you - unless you can take your car to them, Mon-Fri 9-5 Rolling Eyes Not sure about Alive or Bluefin

BAS is very straightforward remote installation - you download your existing map - email it to them, get the new map back and upload it to your car. When I did mine, they were super responsive - I got the map back within an hour on a Sunday Thumbs Up

Could I clarify, I understood that Only JE would do the Remap on the 4.4 TDV8 in the MY2010+ ?

I had an email from Pete at Bell Auto Services to say they don't do the MY2012 4.4L TDV8. -------------------------------------

I believe BAS don't touch the 4.4 - reasons on this thread - which also mentions DMS as a possiblility.

Celtic Tuning did my 4.4 in Dec 2015 - couldn't be happier.....

(Added 55bhp and 70 lb/ft torque - and they came to my house to do the work). 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography
