2011 tdv8 final stage resistor

Hi, my heater fan has a mind of its own, doing some research I'm guessing it's the FST but does the 2011 tdv8 have one and if so is it in the same place as older models? Thanks

an update. Ok, so i replaced the FSR in the hope it would change things but it's not. Perhaps someone can assist? The symptoms are below;-
1. There are no orange lights around the 'semi circle' part of the 'auto' button. These only appear if i manually override it and turn the power on the fans up. I do have the two orange lights in the centre of the button that says 'auto'.
2. The rear heating works fine, it pumps out hot air and the fans work fine.
The car also seems to take a long time to heat up (noticeably more than my 3.6 TDV8 did on the same run) I've just had the thermostat replaced-not sure if this might be impacting it things?

Any suggestions to what it might be? It also does not really heat up in the front. I'd say it was not even luke warm in the cabin even though all the temp dials are turned upto max.

Help!

On 1. I think it is normal on the later cars for the lights round the dial not to come on when it is in auto, unless turned manually or you have switched on the defrost button.

Maybe switching off the heat to the back of the car would give you more at the front though of course it is meant to be able to do both. I do find the 4.4 TDV8 a bit slow to generate heat unless it is under 5 degrees outside so the fuel burning heater comes on, perhaps 5 miles before one gets anything and even then it can be disappointing, especially when it is maybe 7 - 9 degrees and overcast. Newer diesels are so efficient that they generate little heat. But yours does sound as if it is not right, if you get little heat with it turned full up, maybe a diagnostic test would show something? Only Range Rovers since 1988
