I think the BlueTooth one is the only one that works with later cars

It will read/clear faults - so helps with diagnosing any problems

With the tool registered to your VIN number you can access the CCF (Car Configuration File). There you have a list of what is in the car showing whether it is activated or not.

I fear that is rather missing the point of why the tool is recommended by users on here. The tweaking of the CCF is pretty much a one off exercise. You set the car up as you want it and that's normally about it. However, as will inevitably happen with a RR ![]() However, if there is a fault identified, it may be one that you can correct yourself with, depending on your level of expertise/inclination, minimum effort and cost. On the other hand, if you don't wish to carry out any work yourself, then it is very useful to have the relevant information to hand before approaching a garage. Personally, I try to do as much work as possible myself and the iiD tool has more than paid for itself in time and money saved.
