Wheel refinishing question

Has anyone had their wheels refinished (repainted) and if so, was the after market refinishing as good and as durable as the original factory finish??

What was the consensus in 2014? 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9

The consensus, although short was that the secondary finishes
We're as good as the original factory finish.
