Following an 08 FF the other day I noticed that it was quite lively on the back end. It was continually bouncing like an old Ford Granada with shot dampers, even though the road was flat. They could have had a boot full of cement bags which might have given it a roly-poly ride, but I cant imagine how queasy any passengers were. QUID FACIUM TIBI

My kids moan about travel sickness on windy roads, but then again they have moaned about feeling sick in every car we have had

I do feel the FF is absolutely great on sweeping A roads, I can imagine it being brilliant on the US or French roads. On the very narrow, potholed twisty roads you get around many places in the UK it can be a bit jumpy and I find I drive a bit slower which I think suits the car better.

My kids moan about feeling sick as well but I think thats because they are clued to the TV's then the moan about being bored, bored I say when I was a kid we played eye spy.

I find the same, maybe it's just that I'm getting old but I just don't seem to have the same "want" to drive it on.

Either that or I'm constantly mindful of the fact that it's a TD6 and I'm trying to avoid further disappointment in my life and just learned to sit back and enjoy it.

My 3 year old complains when I'm reading to her at night that it's "boring".........

I've found the FFRR just about perfect on fast motorway-type cruising. Twisty country roads (=B-roads) are great at the speeds we are allowed to drive them. I find the FFRR deals with bumps and holes a lot better than any sedan I've driven. Okay, the back seat is probably not where you want to be when doing a Nurenburgring time trial, but what car is?

Just done the 1000 miles down to south of france 4 up loads of luggage and on winter (255/55 19 ) no request for catering off load equipment from the back

Although only somewhat related as i await the arrival of my new FFRR on March 1st, i went out on a very spirited drive in my F10 M5 before it goes in 2 weeks & decided to take my 3yr old out for a hoon as he'd never spent much time in 'Daddy's fast car'.

All was going well & he was enjoying the spirited pace of the drive 'racing' as he called it, only to start going a very pale colour on the epic twisties in the North Lakes & then started to chuck up the snacks i'd been feeding him.

Needless to say i then had to abandon my participation & crawl home at a reduced pace whilst catching as much of the continued puking as i could. He's never been car sick before & is perfect on long journeys so i can only assume it was my driving at speed round the B roads that caused this.

Hoping the FFRR which won't be attending such events doesn't prove to be too wafty for him.

If you're concerned about the 322, I advise against getting a RR Classic. My girlfriend was troubled by feeling sick in that, especially on windy/undulating roads, the north shore of Loch Arkaig being a particular favourite. The absence of air conditioning won't have helped. She has been fine in the 322s. Only Range Rovers since 1988

My youngest has always felt travelsick in everything she has been in - even her own car when she is driving! Not a bit of it in the ff though, must be the air ride.... QUID FACIUM TIBI
