What about a brush? I bought a soft one then put a bag over so doesn't scratch the paint. Only takes 2 minutes.

i managed to clear mine with just an old a4 brochure i had in the boot. Are you all dwarves ?? lol Apologies if i've posted this on my phone and it contains strange spelling and punctuation.. i just can't be bothered to correct it Very Happy

Snow glorious snow

I been out to play today since we've had our first snow, and it's my first snow in FFRR.

I must say it really brings it home to you what a fantastic car it is. I couldn't help thinking about somebody who posted that they keep their RR tucked up nice and warm during the snow because they don't want to get any grit/salt damage. To me that's a bit like buying a Ferrari and then driving it slowly because you don't want to wear the engine out!

Whilst obeying the law of physics at the end, the FFRR manages to stretch them beyond recognition. I was amazed and delighted at how the electronic trickery can make 2.5 tons of prestige car keep itself under control in adverse conditions.

I purchased a tow rope, but didn't manage to find anybody needing help, maybe tomorrow, when the slush re-freezes! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

I will also then confess that I've been harassing my elderly neighbours, one eventually gave in and conceeded that I could get her a pint of milk and a newspaper, so I shot off on my Epsom Green charger via the most circuitous and hilly route I could find ignoring the two shops I passed on route to my destination 8 miles away

Probably the most expensive milk and paper ever! (milk in fact since the papers had sold out). Still nice to do one's bit for our senior citizens in times of need! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

I had a tow rope attached to the rear tow eye for 2 weeks when we had loads of snow, just chucked the other end in the boot because I was sick of taking it off then 200 yds up the road having to tow someone else out of a ditch etc. Laughing

It's forecast for another covering here over the next couple of days too so looks like I might be able to go and play again Very Happy 2006 Mercedes CLS
