Firstly, apologies if there is a thread on this already, but I have spent half an hour reading about android head units in earlier vehicles or i-phones from my search results which are not helping!

My phone works fine via BT for telephony (apart from frequent loss of address book and call history!).

However, when connected via USB it charges (slowly) but is not recognised by the head unit as an Aux or USB device?

Any clues please? Bish.

Yeah, the Android devices need a file sharing app installed but even then it's very hit and miss, usually miss. The USB function in 2011/12 L322 works well with a USB memory stick, but not phones. It wasn't until L405 that Range Rover got the 2012 updates which D4, Evoque and new RRS enjoyed.

iPod cable, bovee/tune2air WMA1000 in the iPod connection then stream the music via BT from the phone, its a good way and works very well from an iPhone. Cant see why it wouldnt work with an android device as opposed to an iPhone? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
