Repairing door mirror..

My last annoying flaw with my car is my passenger mirror. It won't powerfold,'it gives a dull click and that's about it.. mirror still tilts and wee lamp still illuminates so it's gettImg power to it.. I'm presuming the motor has had it or the worm gears worn down.. microswitch is fine so had a look about and you can pick up the motor for around £50..has anybody removed and refitted with a new motor, ? If so any pointers would be well received.. thanks

There is also this wiki item that tackles the motor in more depth

That's great! Only thing that's going to cause me issues with this repair is rounded torx heads Laughing . Other mirror was impossible to remove as someone had butchered them.. fingers crossed... thanks!!!
