Looks like an air/vacuum leak with the associated overcompensation.

It's me giving it gas.. it's perfect over 1000rpm between 800 and 1000rpm is iffy.. mag looks new but could be dodgy I'm thinking |

Check your air filter is correctly attached to the pipe as that can cause rough idling? |

Will double check all connections.. I did remove air box to remove headlight a while back.. had a lot of trouble attaching it at the bottom where the external air intake pipe meets the box.. could that cause it?? |

Looks very much the same until mine gets to 1000rpm then she's perfect. I'm getting it smoke tested for free at the weeekend and if that doesn't give me any resolve I think the maf will be changed.. Pcv systems been overhauled so I can at least rule that out.. mine occasionally dims as well |
