KurtVerbose yours might newer, but mine can be fixed with a bent screwdriver and some bailing twine (posh farmers string)

I think it is a sign of getting old, but I remember every job I did on my VM , but I struggle to find my glasses today !!!

V8 Power is fabulous provided that there is actually power to start with... BL (LR) had perfected the art of taking an engine from a different manufacturer and tuning negative gains in to it... I believe that the Buick version of the V8 was closer to 250 HP, by the time BL had finished with it 120 - 167 HP depending on how much tinkering they had done
