V8 Cool
I'm getting a early V8 delivered this weekend (fingers crossed!) . I had one a few years back and loved it. Friend of mine had the td6 and it sounded no where near as good as my V8. For 5k miles a year I know what I'd go for

You decided to go for it then Wink Regards

Yep sure did. Needs a few things doing but for a cheap runaround/shooting vehicle it's not bad. Plus it's a lot more comfortable and quieter than the Defender!

I also came out from a 110. I reckon that's what it feels like. The only waves you get is the bird. It's quite a change.

I'm still getting used to posh, even in the L322 povo pack. i still have a 110 or 2 under covers in the backyard, waiting for a spare weekend.

The L322 is an amazing all rounder with class and ahead of its time with features, which is probably the tone of Range Rover from the start. ______________________________

I wouldn't bother with LPG either, you're just not going to notice much difference on those miles. Can you even get LPG now? The fuel stations here have all but dropped it. I had an LPG many moons ago on a P38 and remember having to travel 18 miles to the nearest LPG station which defeated the idea somewhat!

LPG is still readily available in most places.

Also your last comment makes no sense ? who drives a single journey to a petrol station specifically just to fill up with fuel ? "just popping out for some fuel, be back in 20 minutes"... hilarious Very Happy
