It really isn't that difficult to do. I managed to find the two connectors (6 pin and 3 pin) in the boot of a BMW at the local scrapyard. They charged me £1!

The ibus connection fits .. just the audio part I need..

I've got details of how to swap the pins. It's very easy. I bought the two plugs from an X5. All the pins are numbered, just follow the guide.

Those plugs are readily available on the bay of fleas.. do a search for "CD plugs" BMW, MG, Rover, Range Rover etc |

That's a great help. Thanks buddy! I presume the other connector I unplugged which actually fits in the ibus connection to the intravee should just be plugged back in and ignored? |

Thanks my good man.. quite looking forward to this now.. managed to fit b####d 2012 rear leds (eventually) and even managed to rid the units of a permenant half on foggy so this should be a doddle with your list.. |

I found that the pins came out of the plug easily, the tricky bit is getting the plug inner out of the outer |

Well that's it finally fitted. Quite enjoyed the re-pinning part tbh . It doesn't look too organised in there but I've managed to tuck about 40 foot of cable through the small gaps at the roof of the glove box.

Also very important to use the earths.. tried it without just to see and the TV keeps switching off and on.. keeps grounding and the system doesn't work as it should.. added the earths and it's perfect! |
