Hi. My wife got an Evoque recently and I'm taken with it's bigger brothers. I think my next car is going to be a FFRR or RRS. Unfortunately I might have to save up for a while.

Thanks and hi

Hoping somebody out there can advise I have a 2004 l322 with some electrical probs ! I hear you laugh ,the rear doors fuel lock and tailgate. Sometimes open on the remote but the front doors always open ??? Plugged it in and it's saying bcu super lock relay short to ground bcu unlock relay short to ground and bcu lock relay short to ground ,I know the location of this unit but I'm unaware of any probs that may arise from unplugging this unit as I have read that you you can send it off but it needs to be re coded to the key any help with this would be great thanks

England 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Cairns Blue

Hello!
I've been lurking for a while and have mananged to pluck up the courage to join FFRR, say hi and to tackle quite a few jobs on my 04 4.4 V8 thanks to this place.

Thanks everyone for the info with special thanks to SaintV8 for the great write ups and pictures.

In the last 6 months I have had to address the following issues;

New top rad hose
New water pump and belts (Wimbledon Land Rover)££
New O/S front disc backing plate (Wimbledon Land Rover)££
New battery
New gas struts for bonnet and boot
New oil filter housing rubber mounts
New transmission oil cooler with thermostat and housing

Now I have a small coolant leak which appears as a small patch underneath O/S front!! Bow down

Some of me thinks that I should have kept my old 3.9 V8 Classic..

Mmmm.. Nah!

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover HSE Td6 Zambezi Silver

Hi to everyone
I'm new to both this forum and until tonight any forums. . .(This loooks very similar to one I have just joined ??!!??)
I have just purchased my first Range Rover. its a 2008 Sport HSE with a few added mods. My only other venture into the Land Rover flavour was a heavily customised Land Rover 90 V8.
I've owned over 50 cars and a dozen bikes many of which I have cutomised/modified/tailored to my needs and will possibly do the same to my RRS. If so I hope to use the knowledge of this forum as well as adding to it where needed.
Question

Hi

Not owned a Rangie (yet!), but have had several Disco's. Considering L322 purchase, probably TD6.

Cheers

Rob

Evening All

I'm a new member who has been lurking and learning for about 3 months. So thought it high time I came clean. Or joined. So I am looking for a really low miles Autobiography 2012 onwards. There's a few on the usual websites but I'm currently torn between fuel types. I'm upgrading an 3.0d e53 X5 (the original for those not familiar with BMW's numbering) which was the last of that model and simply the most reliable car I've owned. After 9 years it's time to move on though as the old girl is starting to look a bit, well, old! Neutral

Anyway, you all seem very knowledgeable, well a few of you anyway Very Happy but you're all definitely passionate and that's a big part of car ownership.

My car's have historically been BMW's - currently have a summer M3 - the e92 v8 - convertible which is also very low miles whilst the Minister of Home Affairs runs a new hybrid Lexus RX....... Whistle Whistle For the school run you understand and because she is convinced diesels and any petrol bigger than a 3 cylinder are the work of the devil Confused .Okay.....

Well that's enough guff for now. If I don't comment much it's not because I'm being rude, but just because I've not got anything intelligent or witty to say. Very Happy Very Happy .

Thank's for reading this far and any help or advice with my purchase would be most welcome.

Cheers Thumbs Up
