Hi all
Anyone ever come across no sound from radio after first starting? Is random 5 out of 10 times straight after start up. The screen all illuminates and reads correct but no sound comes out the radio. No matter what station you select it stays silent. Then will randomly start playing sound.
The CD and Tape player work all the time no issues?
I'd kind of guessed it was the amp but the fact the cd and tape play all the time eliminate that option.

This happens on my 2011 sometimes - it's usually fine when I turn off and on again - not sure what it could've though 2005 L322 Vogue Gold gone

Suggests problems with your BM54 or connections thereof.

I had this same problem with my previous BMW and I found it to be dry joints on the main board. It is quite straight forward to do.
