Bring me the head...

Bring me the head of the wannabe designer/ P poor engineer who put the second sump plug of the TdV8 directly above a crossbar so that it's impossible to get a socket on it and even a spanner is always at a slightly off angle.
What was going on in your pea sized brain ? Of course once it had rounded off, it was mole grips time and a bloke with strong arms than mine.

What are others doing about this problem ?

I prefer the good old fashioned way of using gravity. Just how much of the sludge at the bottom of the sump will get sucked out ?
