C panel 'finisher' removal

While I'm on a roll ill ask another question...

A week ago some kind soul threw a traffic cone at the side of my RR outside my home. Evil or Very Mad

The piece of satin black trim thats on the forward facing section of the rear passenger door has taken a hit and i have ordered a new one from LR. (or i hope i have, they tell me its a 'C panel finisher')

I wondered if anyone knew how to get this panel off?

I have googled and come up with nothing.
I know you can buy a horrible chrome kit off eBay that is a direct replacement but the advert gives no indication of how to replace the black for the chrome panel.

I shall try to post a photo of the damage.

if it's the panel at the hinge end of the back door then wind window down, pull out the rubber "window guide" that runs vertically and there are 3 self tapping screws to undo.

Well that's what holds the front door Ones on and I'm 99% sure the tears are the same. have to change mine tomorrow as rust bubbles appearing. Accept, some days your the pigeon, some days your the statue!

I was very surprised at the price when i called to get a price. I was expecting at least a hundred quid plus.

I have ordered it as guy salmon in coventry don't have them in stock. £33.09 + VAT.

Im sure it is the same but I was going to get the new part and look to see if that gave any clues on how to fit it.
