Looks awesome. Spec & colour??

I've ordered mine with those same wheels as i think they work so well with the FFRR.

You must have one of the very 1st MY17 FFRR's in the country as Inchape said yesterday they haven't yet received any MY17's but expect the first to arrive later this week. Mine arrives in 2 weeks but i'm holding off collecting until March 1st to get the new 17 Reg.

Photos of the new Infotainment please??

My local MD had their MY17 demo car in mid November, I've just used it for a week and found the pdi sheet with delivery date noted so they have been around for a while now.

Oh well, It doesn't surprise that my dealer yet again has given me incorrect information. I'll probably find out they had a MY17 in the Dealership while he told me they've yet to receive any Whistle

Looks very very nice, I know the feeling of collection day, all very exciting. Smells nice inside too for a couple of weeks!

You will enjoy the car, they are lovely and the lower running costs that a diesel will bring but just maybe you will miss the excitement of the M5 once the honeymoon period is over.

Had the M5 for 3 1/2 yrs now, so although it's been an epic car & the replacement for my original rejected one has been bullet proof, it's time to try something different & a FFRR has always been a car i've wanted to own at some point.

Probably 80+% of my journeys are a fortnightly motorway/dual carriageway journey from West Lancs to Suffolk (500 mile round trip) so although the M5 has been epic fun, i can't think of a better car to do these journeys in than the FFRR.

Stage 2 F10 M5

Off topic - did you have de-cat downpipes?

Nope, only the DMS Stage 2 tune, which was developed on my car & Rob the Owner of DMS's F10 M5.

I did have H&R Sports Springs fitted to improve the traction & grip on track as well as upgraded brake pads to RS29's.

That's lovely. Can you share any pictures or videos of the new infotainment set up?

Sure thing!

Looks awesome & i'm actually salivating.

Do you have any experience of the previous InControl system in pre MY17 cars? If so what are the obvious improvements over the earlier system & what additional functionality?

Looks stunning - 500 mile round trip will be a piece of cake - I do that as well every two weeks. Its the best long distance cruiser I have driven.

My MY17 arrives next week Thumbs Up

Yes, fantastic car for long distance in fact I can't think of much else to beat them. There are more sleeker cars but nothing that can get you out of trouble in inclement weather, commanding view over the road ahead, comfort and reasonable performance.

I'm going to go to the extreme and build myself a Caterham to get my fix.
