England 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black
I know Im probably being a pain

But I've only just got it and have some questions

2011 Range Rover 4.4.TDV8

1. When I lock the car via the fob does it close as in the 2007 and is dead locked ?

2. Can I play music via a USB connected to the USB plug in the cubby box between front and setas?

3. Is there any benefit to getting the lead to connect to phone when it charges via USB and is bluetooth connected?

4. can you upload contacts from an iphone6

5. Where is the best place to get the infra red headphones for the back, this didnt have any with it?

6. Does an update stop the blue triangle flashing on the nav screen ?

7. The trim down either side of the back window has bubbled at the bottom not the paint just the trim - is it easy to replace/

8. Will ACC slam on brakes if car in front does?

Thanks for all your help

Some answers - don't know for the rest Big Cry

1. First press of the keyfob locks and sets the alarm, but not deadlocked. Second press within a couple of seconds applies deadlock.

4. Yes, contacts should sync OK.

8. Yes, but be careful. It will slow you down until it reaches about mph, then ping and put a message to tell you that the driver needs to take over. It won't bring you to a complete halt.

1.yes

2. yes, but not via an iphone and lead

3. not totally sure what you mean, but yes you can charge via usb socket and still have it connected via bluetooth for phone only.

4. yes, via bluetooth, need to tick the option on the phone.

5. Ebay

6. haven't seen the triangle to be able to comment.

7. yes, they just pull off and push back on. early models didn't have them on and some people just take them off and dont bother to replace

8. no. It will slow the car down, but if you approach too fast then the dash will alert you to apply brakes and an audible warning as well. Regards
Mark

I have some IR headphones here - I think they are alpine ones from a previous car - 3 pairs - wonder if they would work for you? We don't have the SE so no screens. 2007 Vogue TDV8 with 255/55/20's fitted

2. yes, but an iPod cable with a tune2air/bovee is better as it connects via bluetooth automatically to your iPhone.

3. a phone will connect to both the car for tel and another source independently. you can charge it using a standard lead using the standard iPhone lead.

4. will happen automatically when you pair the phone to the car

6. Does an update stop the blue triangle flashing on the nav screen ? not seen that ever what does it indicate?

7. yes just pulls off, its decorative and many have binned it. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

4. Yes. I do/have

7. The only purpose I can see for this bit of trim is to stop water cascading off the edges when you open the upper tailgate. It just pulls off and pushes on.

I could be wrong.....

Thankyou for all your answers

The blue triangle is the indicator of where you are on the map on the nav unit. It all works just normally the car or whatever does not flash, on RR Nav the triangle flashes. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE

Flashes on mine too and agree its very irritating! not found a way to stop it in any of the nav settings so would be keen to know if it can be set not to flash somehow.

I must admit I have got used to it within a day or so.

Ive booked it in for a service at Landrover so that they can look it over and update the software more as a base point - as of this date it was all ok type of thing. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE
