So you get the eyelashes & the pink - it's just the Ford Ka bit you're stuck on ? Whistle

I have seen an ff in pink. Most pink cars seem to look at you and say 'please put me out of my misery' but the pink ff just dared you to say anything - as in the way of Dwayne Johnson in a tutu. Not only that, I usually refer to KA's and other small cars as traffic fodder - how can you feel safe in them? Yes I know they have all been safety tested, but really how can you FEEL safe? Personally I have only had one small car - a 1971 MGB GT and they were made of girders and old tank parts.... QUID FACIUM TIBI

Rolling Eyes Don't like them? Then don't buy one! Each to their own and all that.

I don't think you have to look very far to find a wide range of comments about the typical RR owner. 2006 4.2 SC

I once had a Ka as a loan car and wanted to hate it, but I just couldn't.

They're really not bad little cars, but then I do like Fords. Si. <This is my name.

Girls and pink cars.
Is it a Barbie thing? They are often driven by (in my opinion,) -girls with large make up bags. And are often seen 'doing stuff in the mirror' after coming out of the fakebake shop.
-not that I look at said girls. -if any! Shocked

Pink cars though.

And the eyelash stickers. Surprised

At least have one 'winked' Razz

Not that I would look though!

Mrs O had an Escort Cabriolet in Amethyst some years ago. I believe Ford did 3 special edition colours and gave them sexy names but in essence they were pink, blue and green.

Obviously desirable as it had been nicked before I bought it and nicked again during our ownership. One more Escort and then onto a RR Classic to accommodate the size of her make-up bag Laughing

I am into scrapping Ford KA's.

Started with my daughter who had two, now my son is on his third. Rusty pieces of Censored ! But good engines and gearboxes, reliable and easy to work on, cheap parts. Great for learning to drive and for the junior years. Insurance still Censored stupid at @ £650 after they passed their tests.

Just won't pass an MOT without a completely new body.
Easier to buy one with a long MOT, then scrap it and buy another.

Have one available now, 51 plate, 100K miles, No MOT, Red with dents, very clean engine bay: £50 - you collect. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink
