sat Nav on display

I have just brought a 2011 Vogue SE and Im sure that I read somewhere that directions on the Nav could be displayed on the clock screen, is that right ?

the early L405 has a similar setup as ours and they have it so its frustrating that it cant be 'fettled' into our system...
