Weight reduction, anyone?

[this previously was an invitation to chat about the compromises of weight savings. Apparently is a laughable topic]

Of course you can save a lot of weight if you started throwing things out fortunately I do little miles so am not too bothered.you could start with spare,Jack, boot cover, towbar, engine cover, undercarriage guards, rear seats.buy a lightweight exhaust and wheels.only fill third of a tank,Google 'hypermileing '.

Well then, I guess that answers that.

Let me start a couple threads about swapping out my front grill, painting my wood veneer piano black with a rattle can oh and let's not forget fiddling with the brakes. I'll fit right in.

Any 'sensible' weight saving would have been done by RR - the thought might well have occurred to them.

Beyond that, start with the Jack - that's useless anyway, then spare wheel, back seats, carpets etc - just rip the whole lot out.

And those extra sun visors for when you're using the main ones on the side windows - what were they thinking - bin both sets & wear a cap Thumbs Up

Sorry zorro, don't feel bad about us, your post might have been very serious, but even my first reaction was
"Fullfatweightwatchers?" Shocked .....it seems like a contradictio in terminis. And yes, we like banter, but if you search for something or need help, these same guys know the answer.
