From personal experience, I would only choose a company who specialises in tuning LR models, such as Alive Tuning |

DMS were always pretty good for BMWs etc.

I did search on here before posting, honest. Even on your search results the BAS thread seems to be the only 322 specific thread.

Just looked at the BAS site and a trip to York from Southampton for half a day for fitting isn't great. One of the reasons DMS are tempting - any views on their work on RR? |

BAS do a tool, they post it to you, you plug it in and download the map to the tool, then email it over. They change it to suit and then email it back to you.

I considered this too. Pete (BAS) is maybe one of a handful you'd want to trust with this kind of stuff. Not just a 'load a map' dot com business.

Or if you're going to buy an IID Tool, then BAS also supply a remap via that.

Makes more sense, the bit of the site I went to said leave it with them for half a day which wasn't great for me |

From what I've seen over the past few years there havent been many problems specific to the remap. Obviously there are the issues that some get with turbos etc on the 3.6, however these are the exception in general, and aren't specific to cars with maps. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I had 2 3.6L, both remapped with B.A.S and they were excellent. I only went for the 4.4L for the looks and 8 Speed gearbox, as the tuned 3.6L and a stock 4.4L TDV8 performances feel comparable!

An IID Tool BAS remap and EGR deactivation is on my wish list. ______________________________

Had the BAS remap for my previous FF. it had done 10000 miles with it, until I sold it, without any issues.
