I have a chap who drives me to the airport. Business is a bit slack for him at the moment so I have shown him how I like my cars cleaned and have him come round every couple of weeks. He then uses my stuff to clean them. Trouble is that I'm down to one car (the new Aston arrives this week) so I'm usually driving it.

When I'm In Dunfermline people go around a multi story washing the cars (They ask) for about a fiver. They have scratched my the FL2 quite badly In places to be honest, but I'll get It sorted soon. But not letting them touch my future FFRR.

Not what I would call a great wash, but they get clean buckets of water every car and not bad for £5.

What about all the masses of grit/salt particles caught up in the cack all over the car. Unless these are washed off with fast running water before the wash they can only be smeared and scratched across the paintwork. Confused

I would be interested in how you cleaned the car on Saturday though?

didnt do the underside only the 'top'...this sprays on in a runny waxy stuff , it then 'encapsulates' the dirt and you then use a cloth to swirl it into a dry'ish smear . then you just buff off with a clean cloth..

Encapsulated dirt must surely be in the swirls when you rub into the paintwork though..... Question

That does sound risky, is it causing any swirls, scratches? 2004 black Vogue TD6

dont know if you can see from the pics but there are no swirls or scratches.

i watched the product on a shopping channel many moons ago and thought ,like you thought that it was rubbish but i used it on my black smax and now on the RR and it really does work. ... - .- -.
