New or used MICK ?
Does it have to be a big 4x4, why not a 4wd car?

As she doesn't drive a big 4x4 now, what about something like an Audi A3/A4 with quattro?
I don't think a lot of the M class, most other 4x4s (incl. VW) are a bit bland with few exceptions.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Buckingham Blue

The original ML's were lemons. They got updated in 2002 where a lot of the problems were supposed to have been fixed. When I was looking for my FFRR, I did have a look at the new model but read that some of the 06 and 07 vehicles have issues with the transmission valve control (see link).

If you are looking for a cheap 4x4, maybe look at a VW Toureag or Volvo XC90? The earlier models can be probably be had for around the 10k mark. Paul

I think some are missing the point....

Micks daughter wants flash & trendy so I don't think an XC90 tank would do it Laughing

I agree with Gaz.

I mean, if you have a super-rich Dad that is buying a new car for you then flash and expensive needs to be on the list. Laughing
