radio interference

hi all, can anyone shed any light on my radio interference, it happens when i switch the rear heated window on and i also loose the radio channels when it is extremely cold first thing in the morning. all i get is static Whistle

Has the rear windows been tinted (after market ) ??

If it has then that can be the cause of the problem. some tint film has metal in and when the heated rear window is switched on causes a block on the radio reception as it uses the same element for both operations. Regards

It could be an issue with the antenna module that plugs into the rear screen, where it is acting as an earth for the HRW and therefore blocking the radio reception. Regards
