I'm shopping at the moment for a 3.6 TDV8 Vogue / Vogue SE and budget wise think it will end up 06 - 57 with a few miles.

If anyone knows any that are going outside of the usual suspect auction, trader, classified ads etc. please let me know.

Hi,

I've been looking at ones above 150K miles. They we buy any car at 6K which I know is low but naturally looking to be as close to that as possible.

Also slightly nervous that I haven't come across many with over 200K so I'm worried that even if I found one well looked after for a decent price I wouldn't get many miles out of it but of course happy to hear otherwise .

i do concur that with that budget you are unlikely to find many tdv8s around for that sort of money, even with over 150k on the clock.

i reckon you are better into petrol and td6 territory with that budget I'm afraid. There are some forum owned 3.6s around for sale at the moment but they are closer to £10k than 6, there are some 3.6s close to 6 but the milage is mega, and at that sort of milage condition and service history is key.

If you are buying on that budget i would have a good look at the buying guide. Its not that there aren't good cars out there at that budget its just that a tdv8 at that budget will have a lot of miles on it and if and when they go wrong it can be an expensive prospect.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Good to see a tidy one with nearly 300K on the clock, MOT history looks pretty clean as well.

Got my eye on a 3.6 at the minute with 160K on the clock, full LRSH including replacing the Turbos & airbags Dec 15 @ 150K.

Can you please point me in the direction of the buyers guide.
