HGV mechanics and breakdown guys tend to use them for helping to replace wheel on the side of the road and generally in the garage.

When undoing the crank bolt, what did you use to brace the reaction arm* thingy on the multiplier?

Am fortunate to have a 3/4 inch drive set ,which is great for very tight stuff if you have room to get the sockets on ! |

I purchased one of these a while ago for around £30 never used it but looks good bit of kit originally got it for wheel nuts on my ldv 400 recovery truck just never needed to change tyres away from home where I have my air driver |

Looks ideal for removing nuts. Can it be used to tighten nuts to a particular torque setting? John
