2010 Rear Lights

I know modifications and bling are rather frowned on by some of the forum, but I needed a new light for my 2002 FFRR, and have been scouring e-bay. I was tempted by the Red/clear, or the supercharger clear/clear, but they all seemed pricey at £295 plus. Also I'm not sure I really like the look of either.

Anyway, the 2010 facelift rear lights are generally £345, or £599 fitted (due to some doubtless exagerated wiring difficulties).

So when I saw the facelift rear lights advertised for £285, including a resistor solution to the wiring problem, it seemed too good to be true. I spoke to the e-bayer and they are adamant that they are genuine Land Rover and they have 10 pairs, so I thought I'd share this with you guys in case anybody else wants to upgrade.

I'm not planning to upgrade the front, which may look odd, but i don't care. I don't like shelling out lots of money for an old part if a new improved one is available!

Here's the link for anybody interested.

as them about the fogs...you will find that there will still be an issue with the fog lights, landrover light unit uses the side lights as fogs and puts two voltages down the supply, low voltage for sides and then a higher when you select fogs. but i think the are nice lights, i have the s/c lights at the moment but think i will be swapping them for the led's... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

So unless I did some complicated wiring would it not just be that the Fog light functionality in the Leds was never used, and the existing fogs would still work? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!
