So, for those of a nervous disposition:-

Talk about a relief - that's the left side one. Right was a newish one so fine too. Really can't say what a relief that was.

Theres a lot of cleanup to do here on the left intake assembly (?) so any suggestions most welcome.

Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner worked very well on my Mercedes EGR and also freed off the variable vanes in my pals VW turbo... it takes a while, but it shifts the carbon in the end Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

The happiest pre-Xmas sight. Been meaning to post but the festivities (and sleep!) got in the way.
Couldn't clean up the inlet as no.1 injector was stuck solid, so had to abandon which I wasn't happy about. But timing was useless.
Back to the snarling malevolent beast that a TDV8 is.
Sweet as a nut, seems like coolant level has stabilised, and chucked a Varta 020 on there while the plenum was out (made it a lot easier).
Moral of the story is - when you think you've got an injector fault you may not have one.
Now to sort out why the FBH aint working...
