Hmm... true.
The D3/4 is practical and I like it, but let's face it, it looks like a van from the back.

OK, I confess... Laughing

I went looking for a D3 two years ago in the credit crunch.
The sport was 2k more and the FFRR was 2k more than that, for the same age and milage.

Never looked back! Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Ok... what doesn't the D3 have that the FFRR does?

oh ok Wink :-

FFRR = Style, panache, charisma, space, oppulence

Disco = Pikey, tarmac, pegs, Sheep Shocked

get my coat Arrow tongue firmly in cheek before anyone gets uppety - tee hee Cool

in all honesty though if I didn't have a FFRR it would be a D3/4

for me its the cabin space, better seats, looks, engine and general level of equipment, if there wasn't a FFRR then a D4 would defintely be the next best thing.

The different points of view are like the voices in my head!

It looks more like the FFRR for me, not least because the RRS appear to cost more for the same year/ similar spec!

And of course the Sport is also a less practical Discovery, with a price premium for sticking a RR badge on it.
Knowing more about the product, D4 or FFRR for me. I just don't 'get' the Sport.
Good marketing exercise by LR to get the profits rolling in though. Thumbs Up

the only reason that Sporty's are cheaper than FFRR is there are more older FFRR on the road - having been registered and available since 2002, the Sporty is catching up though look at the price disparity between similar age Spotty's and the FF, its closing rapidley... the difference is not what it used to be

The deals is done and the car is bought, went for the use as it looks very well cared for with a good history.
