iBus Interface

Does anyone have one, or any experience?

Ordered one off Rolf from Germany 13th November, still not received it! Embarassed

Worth the £20?

Yep, if you have the tech know-how to use it.

Works well with Navcoder

I also used it with my CarPC, communicating with the iBus to use the head unit buttons to operate the CarPC (an old Acer Netbook running Linux) .

I've done some research on it.

I literally wanted to it to set the clock and make something up to reset the mpg as I can't get hold of a genuine stereo!

And see what other Censored I can blow ip

It allows you to connect NavCoder without all the messing about, you just plug it in the computer and the obd socket in the car (top of pocket under light switch) The lead did come with some BMW software, but I've never installed it, I just wanted to use it to connect NavCoder.... which is free to download and look at...but, you do have to buy a licence to talk to the car....

That interface that your looking at doesn't have any software, you need to either write your own or buy a NavCoder licence Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Just FYI you can reset the clock to 12 by pulling the fuse, a battery reset will reset the MPG as well although I wouldn't bother as it is so inaccurate it's ridiculous... just pluck a number out the sky and you will be closer to the real MPG...... Rolling Eyes Pete
